This 3-CE hour course, Electronic Filing Program, presents an overview of the IRS e-file program,
beginning with a summary of the electronic filing mandate and exceptions to the mandate, followed by
the requirements to become an e-file Provider based on the different Provider roles. Next, selected e-
file administrative procedures, IRS oversight, and joint initiatives to protect the integrity of the e-file
program are presented. This course serves as either a basic level introduction, or as a valuable refresher,
to keep your practice in synch with IRS e-filing regulations.
