WiseGuides was founded in 1994 by Andrew Rosenberg, a pioneer in the microcomputer-based tax software industry.

As an industry trend-setter, WiseGuides introduced the 'pass before you pay' concept and package pricing (CPE Plan) offering reduced rates for Continuing Professional Education courses.

Andrew (Andy) Rosenberg is founder and CEO of WiseGuides, Inc.. His company, CPAid, Inc. produced the first commercially available PC based tax preparation software for professionals (the Master Tax Program).

Andy earned a BS in Education in 1969. His career started in the U.S. Air Force as an instructor pilot from 1969 to 1973 training T-38 jet fighter pilots. After the service, he earned his MS in Accounting and became a CPA in 1977. Before starting his own software firm (CPAid, Inc.), he was a staff auditor for Peat, Marwick & Mitchell.

Andy has published numerous articles and books including the "Individual Income Tax" and "Tax Planning" by West Publishing Company.
